Jo Gideon is a strategic communications consultant with significant experience in both the public and private sectors. After ten years as managing director of Papeterie, a paper import, distribution and retail business and four years with Canterbury Christ Church University, Jo founded The Knowledge Hive consultancy in 2006 to create a new model for better business solutions through strong professional networks. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Jo is part time Director of Operations at the Executives Association of Great Britain.
Jo Gideon has been a Councillor for Cliffsend and Pegwell since May 2003, and has served on various committees, most recently chairing the Governance and Audit Committee. As a mother of three and resident of Ramsgate since 2002, Jo is as keen to help Thanet prosper and provide future opportunities for our young people in a healthy environment. Jo's priorities are to ensure that the council engages with communities across the island and works in strong partnerships to provide high quality facilities for all our residents whilst maintaining best value and spending taxpayers' money responsibly.
